Warsaw totally won me over
The Old Town is just stunning - rebuilt from scratch after the war and you'd never know it. The food scene is great too, pierogi everywhere and they're all delicious. Really easy city to get around and people are super helpful.
Great city break, highly recommend
Walked around Nowy Świat street and it was brilliant - loads of cafes, bookshops, and just a really pleasant place to stroll. The history here hits different when you know what this city went through. Food is cheap and really good quality.
Warsaw is seriously underrated in Europe
The Palace of Culture and Science is massive and kind of wild to look at. The city has so much character and the local food - especially the żurek soup - is something I still think about. Everything is very affordable compared to other European capitals.
Really impressive city with a lot of soul
Warsaw's history is heavy but fascinating. The Warsaw Uprising Museum is one of the best museums I've ever visited - emotional and incredibly well done. The city itself feels modern and lively but still very much its own thing.
Loved every bit of this city
Praga district on the east side of the Vistula is so cool - street art, local bars, and a much more relaxed feel than the tourist center. People were really welcoming and the Christmas markets were lovely. Definitely a city with real personality.
Solid weekend in Warsaw
Came for a quick city break and left genuinely impressed. The Old Town Market Square all lit up at night looked amazing. Bigos and pierogi kept us going the whole trip and cost almost nothing. Great public transport too.
